Ace of Cups – April 2023 Tarot Reading
The Ace of Cups meaning is related to new beginnings, emotions, love, and intuition. It is a good omen for happiness, fulfillment, and hope. It also signifies letting go of the past and opening the heart to new people and opportunities. It may indicate a new relationship, a birth, or a spiritual awakening.
Stone of the Month March 2023 – Ametrine
I AM grateful for this topic, mostly because I enjoy connecting and community and of course, ametrine! I don’t think I realized how much they mean to me. As an extrovert, I get my energy from people and have sorely missed the many meetings and potential connectivity in the last 2-3 years. However, I will say that the significant fracture in my calendar has had a profound effect, almost to the point of changing my whole worldview. I AM grateful that this is now in my awareness and that this topic has highlighted my current state of being and motivation.
The Importance of Connecting and Community
We are officially headed into spring where we feel more excited about getting out and moving around – it’s a perfect time to focus on connecting community!
Five of Pentacles – March 2023 Tarot Reading
Just like the fives of the other suits in the tarot, the Five of Pentacles symbolizes adversity. It shows two individuals walking outside while it is snowing. Not only are they cold, they are also sick, poor, tired, and hungry. It looks as if they are lacking the necessities of life. A lot of people can relate to the two individuals in more ways than one.
Answering the Call
I’m Kandi Leigh, a newly minted Reiki Master Teacher answering the call through the Holistic Institute of Wellness. In 2017, I was ready to reconnect to the healing energy. I didn’t realize that’s what I was doing. I thought I was getting help to understand and heal my relationship issues. The life I had been building for the past 12 years was unraveling and I was quickly walking through a spiritual awakening. I knew I needed help staying balanced and grounded, so when Carolyn A. Jones, HIW co-founder and my RMT practitioner, suggested I get a re-attunement, I listened.
I was first exposed to Reiki almost 30 years ago. I didn’t really understand the energy; I just knew that it felt good running through my body, and I felt connected to it. So, at 15 years old, I took a Reiki I class. I was also starting high school and growing up with deep abandonment wounds. Instead of staying connected to Reiki, I embarked on the journey of learning who I am not.
Stone of the Month February 2023 – Carnelian
There are so many fabulous crystals & stones for grounding. I’ll start by saying anything black usually displays some grounding qualities. I wear a lot of black clothes, it’s my infinite go-to color, and, IMHO – it looks good with everything. However/and, personally I prefer Labradorite as my main piece of jewelry for its ability to ground my spiritual energies into my physical body.
