November is always a month that brings gratitude front and center, and top of mind. Most people I know look forward to Thanksgiving, family get-togethers, pumpkin pie, and the kick-off to the holiday season and Christmas with Black Friday!
The Devil card shows us our darkness, but in doing so, also provides the opportunity for a light to shine. So while this card definitely gives off an intense tone, it can also have positive ramifications. For me, this card always reminds me to focus on integrating darkness with light. How can we welcome and embrace the hidden or repressed areas of our psyche instead of hiding them away or feeling ashamed of them?
Lapis Lazuli – Stimulates personal & spiritual power, releases stress & brings deep peace. Harmonizes physical, emotional, mental, & spiritual levels bringing deep inner knowing. Revealing the inner truth and encourages self-awareness and self-expression. As a powerful thought amplifier, it can stimulate the higher faculties of the mind, bringing clarity & objectivity. All this strengthens creativity through attunement to source, confronting truth, freely expressing opinions, emotions, & thought forms.
The World card is one of the major arcana cards in a Tarot deck, and it is often considered one of the most positive and powerful cards in the deck. The meaning of The World can vary slightly depending on the Tarot reader’s interpretation and the context of the reading, but it generally carries several themes and messages.
The first thing that popped into my head from this month’s topic was self-care, self-love and ‘you matter.’ All topics covered before however, because of our conditioning, I can see that one would have to recognize the idea that we have unique needs before we can even begin to look at these other themes. We’re all here on purpose, to be. That’s it, to be, in this world being who we are. All else is programming and ego/fear. And believe me when I say I KNOW!
